Australian crew of Art TV series "Colour In Your Life" is here on Monday, filming up in the high country above the snow line in the Two Thumbs Range between Mesopotamia Station Rangitata and Mt Gerald Station Tekapo.
I had intended to paint in the Forbes Valley with Mt D'Archiac as the main focus but ... weather was against us. The valley had gale force winds whistling thru, so I took the advice of Malcolm Prouting ( Mesopotamia Station owner and helicopter pilot) and painted in a less windy place. Never been in that area to paint before, so was cool fun. Wind was still an issue there with the mics, but we managed.
The film will be released after editing Feb/March next year. These videos are shown on over 26 TV channels around the world.
